GNC/AOCS for flexible space structures

  • SDTlib: Software for modeling, control and simulation of spacecraft,

  • Consulting specializing in modeling and robust control of flexible space systems.

Flexible elements on satellites, such as solar panels or a robotic arm, are often a major constraint in design and validation as they significantly impact stability and performance while being challenging to model accurately.

On the other hand, these systems include uncertain parameters whose impact must be taken into account right from the controller synthesis stage, and not just during the validation phase, at the risk of invalidating the nominal setting and causing delays in the project.

Our solutions

SDTlib, developed in collaboration with ESA, provides an expert, ready-to-use answer to flexible satellite modeling. It simplifies the design, control, analysis and simulation of space vehicles and subsystems for a wide range of mission scenarios.

We offer consulting services (customized R&D studies, collaboration on European projects, response to ESA calls for tenders, CNES R&T, etc.) based on our expertise in robust control and modeling of mechanical, flexible and multi-body systems.
